Individual therapy using cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) focuses on helping young clients identify and modify negative thought patterns and behaviors to improve emotional regulation and coping skills.

Family Therapy

Family therapy is a collaborative therapeutic approach that addresses and improves communication, relationships, and dynamics within a family to foster healing and understanding.

Family therapy can be helpful for families experiencing:

  • Conflict

  • Behavior challenges

  • Unhelpful communication patterns

  • Parenting challenges

Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)

Parent Coaching

Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is designed to help parents manage behavioral challenges in children aged 2 to 7. PCIT is often used with children who are diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder and for children with a history of trauma.

PCIT may be a good fit for your family if you are experiencing difficulties including:

  • Disruptive behavior

  • Temper tantrums

  • Aggression

  • Defiance

Parent coaching focuses on teaching parents skills and strategies for managing difficult behaviors at home. Sessions focus on identifying patterns of behavior and on reinforcing positive behaviors to reduce the frequency of tantrums and other disruptive behaviors.
